Grounding Is a Complete System

At its most basic, grounding means direct physical contact between a person and the earth, such as standing or walking barefoot on natural grass or soil.

A grounding product extends that contact path through a conductive textile and dedicated connection hardware. A grounding sheet is passive: it is not an energy source, does not supply operating power, and must never use live or neutral conductors as the contact route.

A complete system requires body contact, a continuous conductive path, and a verified earth-referenced ground. Conductive material alone is not grounding.

03 / Use & Verification

Set Up. Connect. Verify.

Follow one clear sequence: check the outlet, connect the sheet, then verify the conductive surface.

Follow the instructions supplied with your specific product and testers.
  • Fit the sheet

    Install the sheet in its intended orientation, keeping the conductive surface available for the contact arrangement specified by the product.

  • Check the outlet

    Insert the socket tester and compare its indicators with the legend supplied with that tester. Continue only when it indicates a grounded receptacle.

    If the result is unclear or indicates a wiring issue, stop and use another verified location or consult a qualified electrician.

  • Connect the cord

    Press the snap fully into place, route the cord without tension, and connect the ground-only plug to the verified ground port.

  • Verify the surface

    Use the product tester at several points on the conductive area, following the tester’s own instructions. If the indication is inconsistent, reseat the snap and cord before testing again.
